At this time OSC does not have a program and Individuals wishing to coordinate service projects.
Gift Card Collection
As you may imagine, money can get tight for the families as they reside in the outpatient facilities both on and off base during the healing and recovery period. OSC regularly distributes gift cards (Target, Wal-Mart, local restaurants to DC and Maryland), grocery cards (Safeway, Giant, etc.) gasoline cards and check cards (Visa, American Express, etc.) to wounded veterans and family members in need.
Say Thank You
Over the years, OSC has received and passed on thousands of cards saying thank you to the wounded veterans recovering at WRAMC. If you, your family or community wish to say thank you, a simple card goes a long way.
We ask that all cards come in unsealed envelopes or in a larger package, without an envelope. A member of the OSC teams sorts through the cards prior to delivery to insure they are appropriate and in good taste. Envelopes are discarded for security and safety reasons.
We are small non-profit making a big impact in our veterans lives. In order to keep our overhead low and ensuring that the donations that we get go back to the troops and their families we need YOUR HELP!
Spreading the word about who we are and what we are doing is our advertisement. Making a donation and spreading the word is the single biggest way you can impact our organization.
You may mail in a check for a tax-deductible donation - make payable to Operation Second Chance, Inc. and send to the address below. Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive a letter in the mail from Operation Second Chance, Inc.
