I was called to serve in Balad, Iraq
I served over 4 years in the Untied States Army on Active Duty. While serving I was a 92A Automated Logistical Specialist and I was called to serve in Balad, Iraq (Camp Anaconda) in 2006. As a result of serving in Iraq I became very ill and in 2009 I was retired from the United States Army.
I begin working almost immediately after being retired to try and take care of my family but, the job I was working reaggrevated my illness and I was forced to quit. As a result of me quitting I was denied unemployment benefits and begin struggling to sustain things that we needed.
I requested help from Operation Second Chance and I got the help that I needed and I am forever grateful to this organization because they were not obligated to help but, they did anyways. Thank you for all of the help once again!!!!!
