I am a retired Navy Veteran and am very impressed with all that Cindy has done for the troops. I just watch the story on WJLA 7. It has inspired me to become involved.

I were on the country cruise getaway, you are a group of amazing people. Cindy you are my inspiration you are an amazing woman, and to the soldiers who were present and to those who could not attend you have opened up my eyes to a reality that very few know. You all are my true heroes, without your sacrifice that country may not be what it is so from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you and thank you, because of you I am proud to say I am an American.

I am a US Navy Vietnam Veteran '63-67. It is a wonderful thing your group is providing our wounded Heroes. I am a member of the Oregon Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) It is our job to offer our respect and services of fallen Heroes who have paid the ultimate price. We offer our support to shield the families from undesirable guest that appear to disrupt the funeral proceedings. We will meet the airplane transporting the Soldiers remains at the gate and escort the hearse of the fallen soldier to the mortuary. We will also attend the funeral services with our flag line and escort the family to the soldiers final resting place. We in the PGR do this with pride.
It is good work your group provides and I am sure the families of the wounded Soldiers appreciate what you are doing.

Congratulations to all the members of Operation Second Chance for their devotion to our wounded soldiers.
We are all proud of the American soldiers who have honored their Country with their service. They were called to duty, and "did what they had to do" so others did not have to.
Those who care, will never forget your brave actions, and personal sacrifices.
With care and respect,
Steve and Lois Robertson
