Redskins Radio True Heroes Charity Golf Tournament

Operation Second Chance (OSC) will benefit from the Redskins Radio True Heroes Charity Golf Tournament on June 17, 2008 at Robert Trent Jones II Course at The Lansdowne Resort.

Nation's Triathlon in Washington D.C.

Ron Shover, a former Marine, will be taking on the Nation's Triathlon in Washington, D.C. on September 14, 2008. In addition to his physical goals for the competition, Ron has also set a fundraising goal of $25,000 to benefit OSC. Ride Allegheny Freedom Ride

Members of Ride Allegheny will again take on the four day, 325 mile bicycle ride from Pittsburgh, PA to Gaithersburg, MD. The 2008 Freedom Ride will take place October 2 - 5, 2008.

Marine Corps Marathon

OSC is honored to be one of the charity organizations participating in the 2008 Marine Corps Marathon. The event is taking place in Washington, DC on Sunday, October 26, 2008.

As a fundraising opportunity, each 10k runner is asked to raise $800, while each marathon runner raises $2,000. If you are intersted in running as part of the OSC Marine Corps Marathon team, please email Kati Pultro for more information.

Care Packages for Heroes

Donations and care packages are collected on an ongoing basis for our Care Packages for Heroes program. OSC board members will deliver each care package to the wounded men and women at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC).

GI-Bracelet.org is raising money for many charities that support our military personnel. OSC has been chosen as one of its beneficiaries. We receive 100 percent of your payment for bracelets. Visit GI-Bracelet.org to donate and support our wounded soldiers/Marines and their family members.
