SPC. Bobby Rosendahl

I was assigned to the Apache Co. 1/5 Infantry division out of  Ft. Lewis, Washington.  I was deployed in October 2004 to Tal Afar in the Northern part of Iraq.  I was in Iraq 5 months when an IED detonated beneath our Stryker, destroying our vehicle and injuring all five soldiers inside. 

I spent six months in the hospital, having a total of 39 surgeries including the amputation of both my legs below the knee. Cindy and her organization have made my time spent at WRAMC much more enjoyable.
